Why Dread?

Dread Reverie intends to acknowledge, then revel in the unexpected relationship between Dread and Freedom

Søren Kierkegaard provides a useful jumping off point: Imagine standing on the edge of tall cliff. Gazing down at the rocky cliffs below you find yourself both averse to falling and yet gripped with dread by the possibility that you could throw yourself over.

In our freedom we find our deepest fear; terrified of our own possibilities.

Authentic freedom requires that we live with our dread rather than deny, ignore, suppress, or run from our deepest terrors.
